Construction project exists commonly in our work and life, provides the material basic and plays an important impact. Construction projects relate to people’s livelihood. In recent years, China has launched a huge number of large-scale construction projects. The12th Five-Year Plan on strengthening the policy guidance of the railway, highway, water conservancy, housing and public service facilities, construction projects, became a major growth point for China’s national economy in the next period. Investment control as the construction project’s three control of an elemet, because of the huge amount of money directly related to the effectiveness and social and economic benefits of investment and investment in fixed assets macro regulation, by the side of the construction of the project, construction Supervisor as well as government-related construction management department attaches great importance, also project management focus on the research in the area.Earned value analysis method originated in the United States in the1960s, initially used in military-industrial R&D projects, and achieved good results. After entering the21st century, earned value analysis to promote a gradual conversion from military to civilian projects. The thesis unifies the characteristics of the construction project and earned value management the basic theory, focuses on how to estimate the Budgeted Cost for work Seheduled, Budgeted Cost for Work Performed, Actual Cost for work Performed, how to use the above basic index to calculate the evaluation indicators and predictors of the construction project and the project deviations and take corrective measures.This article is divided into five chapters:chapter I is an introduction, describes the research background, the significance of the topic and research present situation in domestic and abroad; Chapter Ⅱ the construction investment control and earned value analysis, a more comprehensive theoretical reviews; Chapter Ⅲ constitute a total investment from the analysis of construction projects on a method of construction projects and investment out of control reasons and to solve this problem:Earned Value Analysis. The construction projects in the implementation of earned value management necessary standard and earned value analysis method applied in construction project investment control basic steps. Chapter IV the student activity center project as a case, a detailed description of the empirical application of earned value analysis in the control of the investment in construction projects. Chapter V draw conclusions, and analysis of earned value analysis, a number of shortcomings and limitations and future research directions for the prospect.Studies illustrate the above:earned value analysis method is suitable for the construction project management activities; earned value analysis of indicators in the control of investment in construction projects can play a good monitor, predict, on the effective control and management of investment in construction projects; earn value analysis in the construction of the project exisits a number of shortcomings, and needs to be improved.
