With the deepening of globalization in the computer industry, manufacturingcommands lower values added to the product than R&D and marketing. And the divisionof manufacturing has been more detailed than before. Comparing with traditional industry,outsourcing is more prevalent in the computer manufacturing industry. And as more andmore companies are organizing production and management in the form of projects,project procurement management has become part of core competence of the enterprise. Inthe research of procurement management, vendor selection and order allocation haveimportant practical significance, which directly affect the performance of the project.Based on theories of project management and supply chain risk management, in thisthesis we try to establish an efficient index system for vendor selection in the ultrabookproject of M company. We assign weights among these indices by using the entropymethod. And then adapt the TOPSIS method to rank qualified suppliers during thesupplier evaluation and selection process, so that we could select high performancevendors and release business awards. In this dissertation, we propose to use the AHPmethod for order allocation based on supply risk analysis. And then, application in thecase of HDI PCB procurement in the ultrabook project demonstrates that these methodsand processes are feasible and effective. Finally, the thesis gives conclusions of theresearch, and presents the prospect of this topic in further studies. We hope thisdissertation could provide enterprises with a reference for vendor selection and orderallocation.
