| Manufacturing business, labor intensive ones especially, are under nationwidedevelopment as a major component of national economy. Under the circumstance ofeconomic globalization, the products quality and the ability to have a quick responseto the market of such business have become ever more critical. Therefore, peoplebegin to concern how to improve production efficiency and quality, as well as how toreduce production cost and defective rate. Through studying the classicallabor-intensive model of shoe-making business, the paper gives analysis about featuresand problems in its quality control related to labor-intensive manufacturing andassembling process. On the above basis, the paper provides general account of currentstudy and application situation in this model and puts forward a gang control methodbased on technology of Run-to-Run. This method is operated to realize gang control inthe overall manufacturing system with multiple processes as its controlled objects andoutput of MSE in multiple phases as its optimized objects.The paper includes two major parts: quality diagnose and quality control. Relatedto the former one, it comes up with a new index to measure process fluctuation:process variability rate, then an analyzing method of size transport chain. And theauthor devised a variability rate calculating software to detect quality fluctuation levelin different work of manufacturing and assembling process. By this way, the errorsource can be fixed. Quality control engineer then take relative measures withreference to diagnose and working experience to solve the problem. For qualitycontrol, the author built the controlling model of Run-to-Run in two and multipleprocesses, and worked out theoretical solution for output of MSE. Then the mostoptimized gang control method was shown in forms of solutions and data query table.Considering instability of model parameters in real operation, the author used EWMAcontroller in the gang control model. Lastly, the author made theoretical analysis andsimulation test about the effect and stability of data model and control methodsconcerned.A manufacturing process of shoe vamp in a unit of H Group Co. was used as acase study to test the effect of the method. The data showed the model and methods inthis paper is of real practical value and easily-operated manner. |
