In this paper, we used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) in the input-orientedCCR and BCC modle to build agricultural carbon efficiency of China’s31provincesfrom2000to2010, including technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scaleefficiency. The result shows that: The provinces with high technical efficiencydistributed in scarely populated and low-level economic development area, on thecontrast, the others with better natural conditions and high-level economicdevelopment always have low technical efficiency. In space, it tends to “higher in theWest and lower in the East†characteristic through classification analyzes. Therefore,we analyzed the region differences of agricultural carbon efficiency according to thetraditional way of dividing the three regions of the eastern, central and western.Because the efficiency value of the DEA analysis is cutted value, this paper usedTobit regression modle to analyze the influence effect and difference of agriculturalcarbon efficiency of the three region from six factors of technology progress, theindustrial structure, the scale of production, quality of the labor force, thegovernment input, economic development level. It was found that, there is hugedifference in the four aspects–cultivated land area per capita, agricultural technicalpersonnel ratio, planting ratio, labor with culture above high school proportion.Finally, the pape gives corresponding policy suggestion, including: carrying outeffective propaganda, setting up the farmer’s low carbon consciousness; optimizingthe industrial structure, changing the modle of economic growth; accelerating landcirculation, expanding the procuction scale of agriculture; strengthening the scientificand technologic innovation, improving the technology support ability. |
