Research On Financial Management Application Based On SAP System In FX-W Company

With the pace of economic globalization and global information, as well as thecontinuous rise in labor costs, market competition is becoming fiercer and fiercer.Under such environment, the enterprise has no choice but to face it. There are twoways to face the pressure and challenges, one is optimizing industrial structure inorder to improve the competitiveness of enterprises, and the other is implementinginformation system to help enterprise accelerate its development. Considering this twooptions, many companies choose the latter one. However, as to information system,there are so many types that enterprise cannot directly take one to use. So, onecompany must acknowledge those different systems characters and advantages, thenaccording to the company’s background to choose a suitable information system. Here,FX-W company chose SAP system to achieve the integration of financial and businessprocess, it is FX-W company implementing SAP system project that help me to learnand research the SAP system’s applications in manufactory enterprise.First of all, this dissertation gives a brief introduction of the SAP company and itsrelated products, focuses on the SAP functions and features of the R/3system,meanwhile gives an overview of SAP financial management module. Then, thisdissertation gives the FX-W company’s background, analysis the current situation andproblems of the company’s existing system, which leads to the necessity of importingone powerful integrated system. Next, this dissertation analysis the application of SAPR/3system’s financial management module in enterprise from the following foursteps, basic configuration, master data, transaction and report, which can makefinancial management module run successfully. In this chapter, this dissertation firstintroduces the logistic structure of SAP R/3system, and then demos how toconfigurate the enterprise’s structure in system. Following, introduces eachsub-module’s functions and features of SAP financial management module and givessome key parameter and some FX-W company’s specific configuration of financialmanagement module in the application of the SAP system. Finally, this dissertationdiscusses the five stages of import and implementation of SAP system，that is theproject preparation stage, the blueprint design phase, implementation phase, go-liveand on-line support, and describes the main task in the various stages of the whole project.Through implementing financial management module of SAP system inenterprise, our company did better in the financial and business process integration,not only reducing the amount of manual jobs and repetitive work, but also makinglogistics and information flow and cash flow be consistent.
