Research On The Development Model And Strategy Of Stcf Based On The Strategy Of Economic Zone On The West Coast Of The Taiwan Strait

Since the State Council’s plan to support the development of an economic zone onthe western side of the Taiwan Straits was published in2009, the strategy ofEconomic Zone on the West Coast of the Taiwan Strait gets the strong support of statepolicies and will bring new vigor and vitality to the rapid development of economic.The Strait Textile Clothing Fair (short for STCF) will develop rapidly under theinfluence of the strategy of Economic Zone on the West Coast of the Taiwan Strait.After14years of development, has formed its own type gradually. As the only textileclothing fair which highlights the focus on the economic cooperation and trade between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, STCF has become an important platformfor the clothing of southern Fujian to promote exchange with other countries andexpand the markets both at home and abroad, it can strengthen cross-straitinter-regional industrial cooperation and exchange and promote economiccooperation, it also has importance of realization of the reunification of themotherland. With the international renowned brands entering the Chinese market ofexhibition industry and the competition of clothing exhibition in China becomingmore and more fiercely, it will have great significance for STCF going further moreto study the development ideas and innovation models.Based on the review of the development history and summarize of developmentcharacteristic of STCF, this article identifies the shortcomings and deficiencies. Basedon the summarize of the advanced development patterns of exhibition industry athome and abroad, taking a lesson from them, this article puts forward thedevelopment patterns and tactics of STCF under the strategy of Economic Zone onthe West Coast of the Taiwan Strait. I hope this article can propose some referenceideas for Shishi city in making policy for STCF and help to explore a newdevelopment pattern.
