As the change of modern society and economic form was developed, the structure of family and people’s working values have changed enormously, the work-family conflict is becoming fiercer, and the occupational commitment was becoming an important aspect in exploring people’s organizational psychology and behavior.Due to the special nature of the construction industry, project-based construction employees are undergoing the stress of perennial away from home and poor working environment. In this context, project-based construction employees suffer significant higher level of the WFC than others.Choosing project-based construction employees as object, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among perceived social support (POS), individual coping style, work-family conflict (WFC) and occupational commitment. Specifically, this study expects to examine the effects as follows:(1) WFC on occupational commitment;(2) POS on individual coping style;(3) POS on WFC;(4) POS on occupational commitments;(5) individual coping style on WFC;(6) individual coping style on occupational commitment.Data were collected through a mailed questionnaire.The snowball convenience sampling method was adopted and122questionnaires were returned.The results reveal that WFC is associated with lower level of occupational commitment. POS and cognitive adjustment coping style are associated with higher level of occupational commitment. Supervisor support is positively related to seeking help. Organizational support is negatively related to avoidance.
