A Research Of China’s Export Effect On Industry Output On Condition Of Export Structure Change

Since the reform and opening up, China’s export trade structure changed: from the primary products export leading into manufactured goods leading; from the resource intensive export commodity structure to the labor intensive and capital intensive export commodity structure gradually. Trade structure is the comprehensive reflection of one country or region economics’technical development level, industrial structure condition, commodity international competitiveness and the international division of labor status. Trade influence production and the main purpose of this paper are to study how the changes of export trade structure cause dynamic effect on domestic production.The content of the article contains:Part1.introduction; Part2.literature review; Part3.export trade structure change background; Part4.empirical analysis; Part5. in-depth study of the two factors; Part6.Conclusions and policy recommendations. This paper applies the industry economics theory, combined with the input-output theory in industry economics to deduce input-output model and calculate the index of export trade pulling the production. According to the model calculations, we use the method of hypothesis testing to examine changes in overall industrial significance, and then we refers IPA (important-performance analysis) method to analyze the influence on different industry changes. Based on the analysis, we conclude how the export structure changes effect industry output, and we explore the problems in their development process.The conclusion is:Firstly, in different industries, the output has difference by the change of export structure. The core industries for export contains manufacturing industries which are Capital-and technology-intensive oriented; Labor-intensive industry is facing a bottleneck in the Export Development; Tertiary industry is still weak in the foreign development sectors, the level of development of China’s service trade is still relatively backward. Secondly, in general, the export trade structure changes of our country really have significant effect on industry output. But we also find out some problems:exports’pull to industry are not significant, output growth still couldn’t keep up with the pace of export growth.Through the systematic research for the influence of trade structure change on various industries’production, we can make classification on the various industries, which supplies realistic basis for our country’s trade strategy implementation and key development industry selection. The paper also explores more, like the future’s development trend and existing problem between trade structure and industrial structure, which will help us a better understanding of the current situation of China’s foreign trade, and grasp the rules, better guide our trade and industry development. We also should attach importance on trade and industry structure optimization to construct the road of our country’s development.
