Since the reform and opening up, the urban-farmers flow experiences from the occurrence to extensive development process. Urban-farmers entering the city result in the transfer of rural surplus labor, on the one hand effectively alleviating the contradiction between population and land; on the other hand, to some extent, conforming to the historical trend of urbanization. However, the reality of China is that urban-farmers transferred out, not necessarily in the resettlement areas to settle down, but format a unique Migrant migration phenomenon. If urban-farmers enter city with the double change of career and identity, it will be beneficial to promote the process of urbanization in China. This may well be an effective way to solve the "three rural" issues. Therefore, empirical study on the settlement intention of urban-farmers and its influencing factors has a strong practical value. This article takes the Qingdao urban-farmers’settlement intention as the object of study. Firstly, this article defines the related concept and elaborated the theoretical foundation of the research, including push pull theory, the two element theory, the new labor migration theory of economics, social integration theory. Secondly it puts forward three research hypotheses and chose logistic regression model as measurement tools, and introduces in detail the selected variables. Then it analyzes survey data, including descriptive statistics and logistic regression models statistics. In descriptive statistics analysis, the research starts from the overall statistics of Qingdao urban-farmers’settlement intention, next compares the urban-farmers’settlement intention from demographic characteristics, economic factors, social factors, system factors and other aspects. In part of the logistic regression model, first this article builds the regression model, and then analyzes the results of the model and then concludes. Finally, based on empirical analysis of the results, the article puts forward a number of recommendations from the individual aspects of the urban-farmers and the government.By analyzing the survey data founds that:Urban-farmers think that the government should give support in the process of settlement in the city, ranked the top three factors are:the "convenience" in children’s schooling,"social security","housing give preferential treatment". Urban-farmers think several factors influence their settlement intention, the top three factors are:"The use of relationships","like the city life, and adaptable","high income". Step closer analysis drawn that the proportion of permanent settlement of urban-farmers is still not high, around30%, staying for some time in the city and then returning home is still the main choice. Economic factors have been considered to be the main factor, but the study indicates that although there is a positive correlation between the economic factors and the settlement willingness, but its impact is not significant. Social factors have social security system for migrant workers as expected, plays a very important role. Insured by the survey than uninsured investigation has more intense settlement will.
