With the development of China’s society, the non-profit organizations are playing more and more outstanding roles in public interest areas such as community, health, culture, education, science and poverty-relief etc. But at the same time, non-profit organizations are encountering many unexpected difficulties. Especially the Guo meimei Event solicited the queries from the public. Attention is particularly paid on the fund operation of non-profit organizations, which necessitates it to reform the fund operation systems.It is a guarantee to set up a good fund operation system for the sustainable development of a non-profit organization. But the fund management of non-profit organization in China is lagging far behind that of the developed countries, behind even its own development. Many non-profit governments develop very slowly because of shortage of money. Some even could hardly go on to survive. Some non-profit governments could not adapt itself to its development because of financial problems. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the study over fund operation of non-profit organization so as to build up a sound fund operation mechanism and to boost the healthy and orderly development of non-profit organizations.Currently, our non-profit organizations have such difficulties as backward budget management, uneasy fundraising, disordered fund utilization, lack of supervision and shortage of financial information etc. This article focuses on the sound fund operation of non-profit organizations, carries out the reason analysis over the unsuccessful fund operation from the aspects of organization and environment and sets up a sound fund management mechanism around the overall budget management, financial risk control and financial analysis initially, which takes Overseas Chinese Fund as a case in a hope to offer some references for the long-term development of our non-profit organizations.
