In the21st century, China’s regional development is accelerated apparently, and the improvement of the New-style urbanization construction continues. In this development process, however, various contradictions between the development of transportation and land-use are aggravated day by day,and facing the rigorous test too. Wuhan urban agglomeration, as the backbone in the rise of the whole central China, which is currently in the middle of industrialization, is gradually facing the restriction between the urban agglomeration’s land resource and traffic bottleneck with the accelerated development of industrialization. So how to use the limited land to develop the traffic reasonably,and how to use resource of the land efficiently under the guidance of traffic, to achieve sustainable development of land-use in the urban agglomeration is extremely urgent.This paper is about the question of land-use under the guidance of Wuhan urban agglomeration’s transportation in this background. By comprehensive analyzing and evaluating, the paper proposes the proper land-use pattern to adapt the development of traffic and land use in the urban agglomeration, not only does it give advices to use land efficiently and attain the coordination between transportation and land use of the urban agglomeration, but also can guide the urban agglomeration to achieve optimizing the allocation of land resources under the construction of "Two-oriented society", achieving the object of land-use intensively and sustainable development in urban agglomeration.Taking Wuhan urban agglomeration as the research object. Firstly, this paper makes a survey and draws a conclusion about land-use theories、development theory of traffic system、the theory of relationship between land-use and traffic and the land-use pattern with traffic lead of the urban agglomeration, and discusses the inherent relationship between land-use pattern and traffic development. Secondly, combined with the current situation of land-use and traffic development of Wuhan urban agglomeration, by setting up a efficiency evaluation system of urban agglomeration land use that is under the influence of traffic, it performs a evaluation of land use efficiency and the coordination degree in social、economic and environment of Wuhan urban agglomeration. On the basic of the evaluation result, combining with the present situation of cities in urban agglomeration,then analysis in that land utilization efficiency and coordinate degree of traffic development and land use; After that,the paper synthesizes the result and process of the evaluation, that implement different pattern of land-use in three layer of Wuhan urban agglomeration. The first layer,that implement the land-use pattern of public transit-oriented development in cities of urban agglomeration; The second layer,it should use the effect of radiation and attraction of traffic-corridor to exploit land reasonably between cities in urban cluster as well as among urban clusters. The third layer, it puts forward the land-use pattern of mixed traffic of "Ring+Radical Type" that aims at the characteristics of traffic development and land-use in urban agglomeration, Wuhan urban agglomeration can also use the traffic compound-axis to stimulate the land-use. On this basis, the paper suggests the implementing strategies and advice of land-use under the guidance of the transportation in the end.
