The territories on either side of the Taiwan Straits have been divided and governedseparately sine1949, Taiwan has bing experienced a series of changes and become one of the"Asian Tigers" with its remarkable economic achievements. Taiwan’s experience has a greatimplication on Mainland China’s economic reform and opening up for market-orientedeconomy, so the study on the culture of Taiwan enterprises staff motivation is especiallyimportant.From the mainland and Taiwan cultural characteristics, the article is to analyse the staffmotivation under enterprise culture, addressing on employee incentive advantages of Taiwanenterprises, so as to enhance the application of employee incentive program for Chinaenterprises, and then strengthen the mainland enterprises competitiveness in the the market.The paper includes the analysis of Taiwan enterprise culture characteristic and the employeemotivation, mainland enterprises culture changes and employee motivation, and thecomparison study of employee motivation program deployed by mainland and Taiwanenterprises and the suggestion to mainland enterprises.Based on the enterprise culture and staff motivation theories, the paper aims to have acomparative study of cross-strait enterprises employss motivation program. Taiwan’sadvantages have been proven as creating a people-oriented, providing a variety of incentiveprograms and building a comfortable environment for employees, which is a great guidelinefor Mainland enterprises to develop own employee motivatio programs.
