The Study Of Requirements Analysis In Vibe System

Firstly, by studying the general theories of project management, the paper describes how important the requirement analysis is in project management. Secondly, the paper explains the details of VIBE system-one of Nokia logistics management systems aiming to enhance and optimize the inventory control in product ramp-down phase, and analyzes two outstanding features of VIBE system, numbers of end-users and the unclear system requirements. Basing on the successful experience in the project, the principles of project team setup are highlighted. At meanwhile, some communication skills are practiced to help Project team in finding the right requirements information to cover all users’working area. Regarding of the system development beginning with unclear requirements, a five-step solution is summarized, including the detailed inputs and outputs of each step. Finally, the paper summarizes the difficulties and lessons learned in the project and makes working plan for the future.
