For a long time, Guangxi is working on the solution of poverty reduction. Although it has employed several methods and achieved a lot in the practice of anti-poverty, there are still a big amount of poverty population in Guangxi by now. Since the situation is still serious and the efficiency is very low, it is necessary to analyze the participatory poverty reduction, to learn the lessons from practice, to improve the efficiency of poverty reduction.Since the pattern of participatory poverty reduction was introduced to Guangxi, every governing department and the society in Guangxi realized that it played an important role on the efficiency of poverty reduction because of its active participating and good results. Therefore, it was officially approved and was widespreaded in Guangxi region:from the first KERP project in Xincheng, complicated project of poverty reduction in Quanzhou, CDD project in Jingxi, to the latest testing project in the whole region of Guangxi, all these projects show the significance of participatory poverty reduction in practice in Guangxi.Based on the survey and research, according to the theory of policy network governance, here the essay analyzes the current situation of participatory poverty reduction as well as the trouble it confronted, then gives the suggestions to develop the system of participatory poverty reduction, and solutions to enhance the body participation, to improve the flexibility of governing tools and networking of governing structure, and efficiency of governing mechanism, to develop the environment of poverty region, and thus to reach the goal that improving the efficiency of participatory poverty reduction, reducing the population of poverty, and then improving the living condition of people.
