Men and women differentiated retirement policy can be described as suitable for national conditions and the environment. However, with the families of low birth rate and life expectancy, especially the female population life expectancy continues to increase. China’s women’s social status and the ability to work has been an unprecedented improvement. This change provides a viable basis for the adjustment of existing retirement system, especially implementing the flexible retirement of female workers.The current differentiated retirement policy has obviously not suited to the needs of economic and social development. It is not conducive to the protection of legitimate rights and interests of women in China. Therefore, to comply with the development of the times, with full respect for gender equality and the effective play of female human capital under the premise, adjusting the present retirement system in our country has practical significance. Implementation of the system of flexible retirement of female workers can encourage the abler, excellent workers and give full play to women’s human capital advantage to promote the harmonious development of the gender. |
