Foreign Direct Investment Promotes Research Of Yunnan Industrial Structure Optimization

Since the financial turmoil of2008, there have been a large number of instabilityfactors of economic development, and the global economy has entered a post-crisisera, with the international direct investment and international industrial transfer beinga new pattern and new trends. As a "bridgehead", Yunnan is a China’s southwest-oriented open area. With the continuous deepening of economic development, thescale of OFDI is growing rapidly and the adjustment of industrial structure has beenmaking a significant effect. However, OFDI has achieved the scale of growth, at thesame time, how promotes the development of Yunnan, especially the effects ofindustrial restructuring. In a macro perspective, combining normative analysis andempirical analysis research methods, OFDI promoting Yunnan industrial structureoptimization has been deeply analyzed.Firstly, the thesis has sorted and assessed related theoretical literature on thehome country industrial structure adjustment effect of OFDI. On the basis, theYunnan practice of international direct investment and status of industry structureadjustment has been analyzed. Then on the basis of theoretical analysis of industrialrestructuring effects of OFDI, using2002-2011Yunnan OFDI and non-farm leveltime series data, the relationship between on OFDI and Yunnan optimization ofindustrial structure has been analyzed in a empirical way. The result is: at first, theOFDI has significantly promoted the Yunnan optimization of industrial structure; andthen the effect is low, there is a gap with the industrial structure of OFDI promotioneffect; what’s more, short-term promotion effect is better than long-term promotioneffect; Finally, according to the conclusions this thesis comes up with thecorresponding countermeasures and suggestions to improve the economic benefits ofOFDI in Yunnan and better promote Yunnan industrial structure optimization...
