As the globalization is spreading through the world, every enterprise faces great challenge, especially private enterprises in Chinese which usually suffers from ineffective management and low productivity. It is crucial for the private enterprises to establish effective performance management system when they are facing the globalization of world enterprises. Enterprise D is a typical case and this research may give a solution to such problem.Based on the theory of performance management, the research gives a deep insight into the performance management system of enterprise D by using questionnaire, interview and observation. Critical problems including incomplete of the system, unsuitable performance indicators and weights, deficiency of performance feedback are found thru the research.After analyzing the circumstance that enterprise D has, the research gives a complete elucidation and explanation of total performance management system and risks which enterprise D may has. The research also designs a new strategy-oriented performance management system for enterprise D based on BSC, KPI and coaching technique. The new system includes object management, performance circulation and output application. And it covers the whole process of performance management and several key elements such as organizational structure, identification of KPIs, goal setting, coaching, appraisal and feedback and so on.The research also identifies and gives suggestions on the risks which enterprise D may has in the current system, such as incomplete of the HR management process, disapproval of the appraisal and related legal ricks.
