Study On Production Situation And Development Strategies Of Walunt Of Walnut Industry In Xian City

Shaanxi province is the one of major walnut production region in China, where it has long history and widespread cultivated areas. Northern Wei river loess plateau and Qinling&Bashan Mountain Areas have become the two high quality walnut production region. While Central Shaanxi plain, especially Xian region has built the thousand acres of walnut demonstration park with the implementation of Grain for Green Project, Natural Forest Protection Program. According to the natural condition, economic condition, social condition and existing production scale, potential industrial development suitable for walnut growth, depending on the advantageous condition of northern foot of Qinling Mountain, ninety six walnut demonstration park has been established in Changan district, Lantian district, Lingtong district, Baqiao district of Xian city, total area reaches1000acre.Taking Xian city as the research objective, based on the general investigation result of improved seeds walnut demonstration park in Xian city from2007-2010and research data of Dalv improved seeds walnut demonstration park construction project in Xian city. This paper put forward the development strategies of walnut industry and construction project of walnut demonstration park in Xian city for the purpose of providing the walnut industry development with theoretic foundation and Technical Support in this area. The main conclusions of this research were as follows:1.There were the five main problems of the walnut industry in Xian city.-small scale, poor quality, extensive operation, the low level of scale operation, intensive production, industrialization, backward the Research and Development of mew product and technology2. The development strategies of walnut industry in Xian city In order to speed up the development of walnut industry, several measures should be taken:(1) to establish the improved seeds walnut demonstration park, scale development, market guide, intensive operation, Base development.(2) to enhance the ability to sci-tech support of forest industry depending on Science and Technology. (3) carry out forest certification and green forest product certification, enhance the competitiveness of forest product.(4) making great efforts to develop forest product market, strengthen the research of market demand, acquire the market information on time.(5) to fully develop consumption potential of urban and rural market, build the diverse, steady, secure forest product market system.3.There are seven construction project about walnut planting base in Xian city:(1) to strongly induce and promote the improved varieties, breed and cultivate elite early fruit varieties suitable for local development.(2) to strengthen the Technical Training and help, popularize and spread the practical technique and up-to-date technique,(3) to increase the investment to Infrastructure construction, enhance the construction quality and level, raise benefit, strengthen the demonstration effect, focus on the resolution to difficulty and hot problem in production.(4) to strengthen the propaganda, induce peasant to harvest in a right time after walnut mature, carefully select and pack the walnut, develop the deep processing, increase the value and benefit of walnut product.(5) Government induces and encourages founding specialist walnut society and cooperative organization, speed up improved variety walnut industrialization development process.(6) to strengthen the construction of technological support capability, encourage and support agricultural college and research institution to cooperate with enterprise to establish the economic forest research and development center, construct sci-tech demonstration base in base county., strengthen development and promotion of the new variety, new technology and new product.
