As the pace of urbanization process in China is gradually accelerated, small townwith the layout of Transit road bypassed also increased. The interference of small townsInternal traffic and cross-border traffic, Increase in accident rate and living activitiesinterfere with cross-border traffic on the residents of small towns along the highway,needs City builders make a favorable response to make a More harmonious relationshipbetween the transit highways and small towns, So that small towns can develophealthily with the opportunities brought by the cross-border traffic in the future.Despite the form relationship between the transit highways and small towns havegained increasing attention of the academic and social recently, But most of the variousstudies and actions on the issues associated with the problem are only from the point oftransportation planning and road design, which is not comprehensive. This way Canonly solve a part of the traffic problem relatively, And the project implementationprogress of transportation planning is slow, the investment is large, In a short time cannot resolve the transit of the contradictions between the highways and small towns,neither can meet the requirements of the small towns’ rapid development.Above the basis background, this article first involved the concept of small towns,the concept of transit road from domestic and international to analyze the background ofrelationship between the transit highways and small towns, and pointed out theproblems in the rapid process of small towns’ urbanization in China, proposed the maincontents of this study, methods, significance.Through theoretical study of the small town image and environmental art design,environmental behavior, the city layout and traffic planning, and the guidelinesrecommend study of the Environmental Design for small town transit along theHighway. Based on the above, this article meets the basic requirements in research.Combined with the representative environmental design research about transit roadsegment along the small town, it analysis the coexistence of the current transit of smalltowns along the highway to explore the small town transit along the Highway ofenvironmental design principles,methods and steps.The eventual integration the instance of the environmental design of the CaidianChang Fu Metro State Road318, paragraph, application of the research paper,according to the Caidian Chang Fu Metro-level planning and positioning, analysis of thethe Caidian Chang Fu Metro real geographical features, and proposed correspondingenvironmental Design program. Hoped that this contradiction between the transithighways and small towns to provide a new way of thinking, and transit for the smalltowns along the Highway environment designed to put forward some new ideas.
