Cash Holdings Of Listed Companies In Our Country Level Research On The Influence Of Firm Growth

Cash is a very important asset which many managers are concerned about, it is thebasis of the firm’s production and business operation activities. The car manufacturer isone of the most important pillar industrial of our country. Study the car manufacturerenterprises’ cash holding has important practical significance. This article aims toexplore the relationship between cash holding and firm growth of the listed carmanufacturer companies, so as to enrich the research area of cash and firm growth, andprovide a theoretical reference for cash management and the cash utilization efficiency.This paper use descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis methods,on the basis of previous studies, first analysis and verification the impact factors of cashholding of car manufacturer, and found that firm size, bank debt, debt structure andboard size are significantly related with cash holding. Based on this, analysis therelationship between cash holding and firm growth, and the conclusion shows that theyare positively correlated. And then gives some strategy proposal form three aspects:national, industry and corporate itself. There are three innovations in this paper: first, westudy the relationship of cash holding and firm growth; second, we select the carmanufacturer industry as the subjects of this paper, in the previous studies they got aconclusion that different sector has different impact factors, but there is no study aboutit; finally, we divided the samples into excess cash holding and not excess cash holdingtwo aspect, and use the comparative analysis method in the research of the relationshipbetween cash holding and firm growth.
