Analysis Of Comprehensive Competition Based On Industry Transformation

Overall competitiveness is one of important indices which are used to measure the possession of the markets and resources in a region. Since the group of cities of southern Anhui province have promoted industries, the amount of overall competitiveness has greatly increased. Meanwhile, overall competitiveness is also an important index measuring industrial relocation or out-area investment. Therefore, the investigation to comprehensive competitiveness can help accelerate industrial relocation of a region, seize opportunities of development and improve comprehensive power of cities.The establishment of industrial transferring demonstration-area which link the group of cities of southern Anhui province is the basic law of modern regional economic development. As a member among the cities, Chizhou, will make full use of the economy, resources, environment, industry and any other favorable conditions to accelerate linking the conventions, environment, the institution and related industries to the developed regions. Chizhou will take advantage of comparative power, increase the development of innovation and make great effort to accomplish this project. Finally, it is important to clearly understand the mean of the construction of the demonstration-area, which is a banner leading the long-term development of Chizhou, a guild of action upgrading the industrial structure, a gold tablet linking industrial relocation as well as a rare opportunity of development.This paper, based on the background of rapid economic development and accelerating urbanization process, is written to face some problems of the economy, society, infrastructure, resources and environment of the "first axis" Chizhou city in the demonstration-area, and the inadequacy of existing theoretical researches. To begin with the paper, we review preceding researches on competitiveness and make a brief discussion. Then, we deal with the collected data and use SPSS software to make factor analysis reflecting the notion of reducing dimensions on comprehensive competition of nine major cities from the last decade. After all, our aim is to find the disadvantage of Chizhou’s economic development and the lack in industrial relocation, in order to display Chizhou’s comparative advantage, enhance Chizhou’s competitive advantage, provide valuable theoretical evidence on long-term Chizhou’s regional development strategies and policies, as well as Chizhou’s industrial relocation and more industries attracting to Chizhou city.
