Tianjin Port International Logistics Center Construction And Improve The Logistics Functions

The new era, the development of regional economy in China will change from depending on the eastern regions mainly to depending on multi-regions overall. Tianjin, as the gateway of Beijing area, the third pole of economic growth will be leading national economic growth and development transformation by maintaining steady economic growth, building a center of logistics, embracing the world, participating in international cooperation and competition, involving into economic globalization and regional integration, and etc. The economic development of Tianjin is inseparable with the economic development of the port; the port’s economic development mainly relies on the improvement of its logistics’functions. Therefore, an effective way to develop economy of Tianjin is to improve logistics’functions of Tianjin’s port and construct the center of logistics. Based on regional economic theory, neoclassical location theory and the new geographical economic theory, this paper summarizes and analyzes the discussion of the logistics. On this basis, expound the relationship between the state of regional economic development and regional logistics center, the function of the port logistics and port logistics centers, regional logistics system, the harbor linkage, including the port logistics system. From the view of economic links among Bohai Sea region, the northern China region and the East Asian, the optimal vector of the Tianjin Port’s Logistics is to build an international logistics center; the various parts of the logistics system should be integrated to make the port become the center of logistics system and connect the land and ocean.4By using comparative analysis and statistical method, a comprehensive analysis of the logistics industry in Tianjin Port’s development, focusing on the problems of the logistics industry, this paper summarizes the experience and revelation of the construction of logistics centers in similar areas in China and overseas, points out the advantages and constraints of building the international logistics center in Tianjin Port, and proposes the suggestions:integrate the Bohai Sea port resources, accelerate the opening of the port logistics, establish an efficient logistics collection and distribution system to improve the management concept of no-water port business, highlight the characteristics of each port area, optimize the quality of services, promote the logistics information network construction, and pay enough attention to personnel training.
