Fujian Province Fdi Technology Spillover Effect Research

In the background of the globalization of world economic development, economic development of the world are increasingly linked, which has a significant impact on the investment of global capital flows in the world, especially the international direct investment. The increasing scale of FDI that flows in China involves more and more industries; FDI occupies an important position in the economic development of China. The purpose of the introduction of FDI in China is "market for technology", therefore, the study of that if the FDI contributes to technological progress in China, which is the requirements in promoting the use of FDI in China more reasonable and more efficient.At the beginning of the reform and opening up, as a pilot provinces of the opening up of China, adjacent to the national preferential policies and the natural advantages of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Fujian Province has vigorously introduced investment from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, had become a large province to attract FDI. Fujian Province put forward the comprehensive construction of the strategic vision of the Western Shore Economic Zone in early2004; State Council executive meeting in May2009passed the "Several Opinions on Supporting Fujian Province to accelerate the construction of the Western Shore Economic Zone". Comprehensive construction of the Western Shore Economic Zone is an extremely important opportunity for economic development. From then on the introduction of FDI has entered a new stage in Fujian Province. It can help to guide and promote the introduction of FDI and make good use of local conditions in Fujian Province from studying of FDI technology spillovers of Fujian in this new situation. It also helps to play the biggest role of FDI on the technological progress, economic development in Fujian Province.In this paper, it analyses the technology spillovers of FDI on the basis of the present situation of FDI in Fujian, technology spillovers effect are divided into inner-industry technology spillovers and inter-industry technology spillovers, the back one including forward technology spillovers and backward technology spillovers. The first chapter is the Introduction. It proposes the background and significance of the article, finishes the relevant research literature on FDI technology spillovers at home and abroad, organizes the writing ideas of article in general. The second chapter is a theoretical review. Respectively, it sorts out international investment theory, endogenous growth theory and technology spillovers theory of FDI. Introducing systematically on technology spillover effect theory of FDI comprehensively after, including the cause, channel, mode and its influencing factors of the technology spillovers of FDI. Finally, it obtains the theoretical framework of this paper after summary. Chapters Three and Four is the core part of this article. Chapter Three is about the current situation of FDI in Fujian Province. It analyses the characteristics of FDI and the role of FDI on the economic development in Fujian Province. The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of technology spillovers of FDI in Fujian Province. Base on the further improvement of the C-D function model, the article examines the inner-industry technology spillovers, forward technology spillovers and backward technology spillovers. Chapter five put forward some policy recommendations according to the conclusions of empirical analysis, combined with the characteristics of its own FDI in Fujian Province. It is In order to promote technology spillovers of FDI and improve the technological level.
