Study On Technological Innovation And Its Strategy In Equipment Manufacturing Enterprise Of Shanxi Province

Equipment manufacturing industry is to meet the various sectors of the national economy development and national security needs of manufacturing technology and equipment industry. Its development reflects the material basis of a national economic sustainable development,also reflects the comprehensive strength in a nation or region. Therefore, developing equipment manufacturing industry has great significance. In recent years, in order to support the development of equipment manufacturing industry, the government has issued a series of promotion policy. As a important industrial base, Shanxi Province has also payed much attention to equipment manufacturing industry, which has been the fifth big pillar industry following coal, coking, power and metallurgical. With the support of the transition development strategy and the preferential policy, the equipment manufacturing industry presents the steady rising trend. However, compared with the advanced provinces, the equipment manufacturing industry of Shanxi province still exists many problems. In order to fundamentally solve these problems, it has to make great efforts to improve the ability of technological innovation. Technological innovation strategy is the overall plan of the enterprise. If the strategies are suitable, they will accelerate the technological innovation process and improve profitability.This paper firstly introduces the relevant literature and theories of the equipment manufacturing industry and technical innovation strategy. On this basis, the article elaborates the basic situation of the equipment manufacturing industry of Shanxi. According to the comparison of several key economic indicators in the country and the six central provinces,the article analyzes the present developing situation and the existing main problems. In order to provide the basis for making strategy, the article has analyzed the environment of equipment manufacturing enterprise of Shanxi province, using PEST and the Potter competition model to analyze the macro environment and industry environment. Then it analyzes the equipment manufacturing industry of Shanxi province by SWOT on the basis of internal and external factors. Environmental analysis may lay a good foundation for the selection of technological innovation strategy. There are different types of technology innovation strategy, so enterprises should combine their own actual situations when choose strategy. At the same time, if the enterprises is in different stages of development, its technical level and the environment will vary. The enterprises should make the corresponding adjustment. This paper selects the TAIZHONG enterprises for SWOT analysis, and formulate corresponding strategy of technology innovation in view of the actual situation. At the end of the paper, in order to make the strategy carry out smoothly, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions. It also hope that the suggestions can provide certain reference significance to Shanxi government and the relevant departments to formulate relevant policies.
