E-banking is a society open to the public communication channel, or open public network of commercial banks and other banking financial institutions, as well as the private network of banks for certain self-service facilities or customers, from the cabinet banking services to customers.Electronic banking is based on the development of electronic information technology and based network as a medium, to provide customers with complete and timely financial services. Main types of electronic banking includ:online banking (use of computers and networks), telephone banking (by telephone or other audio equipment), mobile banking (the use of mobile phones and mobile communication network), self-service terminal (automatic multimedia terminals, self-service online). The rise of E-banking is not only fundamentally changed the operating mode of operation of the banking traditional, rich banking and wealth management products and, more importantly, the development of electronic banking makes the bank’s operations greatly reduce the cost to create huge profits for the bank. Rapid advancement in technology and fierce competition in the banking sector continue to master the most advanced science and technology to be able to occupy in the development of the initiative. Therefore, banks today have been fully aware of the importance of the development of electronic banking, electronic banking as an important means to deal with challenges, to enhance competitiveness task.The main content is divided into the following sections:Part I:Introduction. The background and significance of this study, the research methods and ideas, as well as make the main content of the article an overview. Part II:theoretical basis and the literature reviewed. First introduced the theoretical basis of the electronic banking, and summed up the domestic and international research literature on e-banking..Part III:The current development of China’s electronic banking. First a brief introduction to our e-banking development of the overall situation, and then described the types of electronic banking business of commercial banks and development status, analyze the impact of the development of China’s E-banking to commercial banks. Part IV: Empirical Analysis of the scale of the development of electronic banking on bank performance. Regression model was established using the combined data of16banks, the scale of the development’s impact on bank performance analysis of electronic banking. An Empirical Analysis of Part V:Empirical Analysis of the impact factors of E-banking. Try from the bank’s internal governance point of view to explore the factors that affect the electronic banking. Incentives from the ownership structure, board of directors, senior executives of the three aspects investigated bank corporate governance mechanism, the empirical analysis of factors affecting the development of electronic banking. Incentive compensation for bank executives to boost the large-scale electronic banking and business diversification.The size of the board did not play a role in promoting large-scale development of electronic banking, the higher the proportion of independent directors will be less conducive to the scale of development of electronic banking.
