Strategy On Labor Relationship Improving In A Joint Venture Company GAX

To establish harmonious and stable labor relations is a very important issue for any business, and is very important to build a harmonious society.GAX is a three-party joint ventures company invested by China mainland, Japan and Taiwan area, whose main business is to develop and manufacture the auto parts.The three stock holders of GAX are the leader auto part suppliers in each country and region respectively. Due to historical reasons, the number of shareholders in GAX is more than other JV companies. Anyway, the employees from China mainland, Japan and Taiwan are working together in the same company, which would lead to the complex labor relations. How to build the harmonious labor relations in GAX is an important and urgent topic, and it is a vital topic of this study.In this paper, the basic theory of labor relations, including the relation between the labor and capital is described. Whatmore, the introduction and deeply analysis on different status of labor relations, both in China and some other countries and regions with different historical periods, political and economic system are mentioned. And some successful experience of harmonious labor relations established in different countries and different historical periods are concluded.In this paper, the clinic on GAX company’s labor relations status lead to the problem and its root reason be found, and some useful and suitable countermeasures are provided, such as to establish harmonious negotiation mechanism between workers and employers, to establish a reasonable payroll system, to establish the labor market running rules, to build the tripartite coordination mechanism among the government, workers unions and enterprises. The labor relations status in GAX currently proof that all of above improving methods can meet GAX’s development needs. Its labor relations become better and better.GAX would be the representive role for mostly joint venture companies. Through the observation on its daily operation and ordinary course of business, the countermeasures on improving labor relations and the cause of the labor relations problem can be continiously verified, CAPD circle theory and some other work methods can be used to find ways to solve the labor problems completely in JV companies.
