| For nowadays, with the globalization trend in economic development has increasingly speeded up, more and more engineering construction firms at home are going abroad, making cooperation with local businesses and building joint venture by adopting the way of dynamic alliances, which in order to develop their advantages and realize the effective allocation of resources so that they can take part in the market competition of international programs more effectively. And they do bring a series of conspicuous results. However, a number of new problems such as high cost of bringing in labors, hard to control the risks, frequent labor-contract disputes and so on have arisen for lack of experience in international project labor management, imperfect internal systems and innate deficiency in joint venture, making project operations difficult and having a serious influence on further development of Chinese engineering construction firms. Therefore it is inevitable to push the reform of labor management in joint venture.This thesis mainly uses the methods of the combination of theoretical and empirical approach, qualitative and quantitative study, targets at Malaysia - China joint venture in Bakun hydroelectric project, puts emphasis on the current situation and problems about its labor management and presents reform directions, channels and measures by using related theories.The main contents of this thesis includes: (1) to put forward backgrounds and problems of this research, review documents on theoretical and empirical approach in operation management, dynamic alliances and labor management both at home and abroad, and provide research approaches and frame. (2) to introduce establishment process of Malaysia - China joint venture in Bakun hydroelectric project, and the practice, problems and relative causes of its labor management are deeply analyzed. (3) to learn advanced experience and lessons in this filed from internal and external, point out reform directions and goals, and represent main contents of this reform. (4) to propose the concrete implement approach and relevant supporting measures in this reform of Malaysia - China joint venture and analyze its feasibility. |
