Coming into twenty-first century, with the development of science andtechnology, people’s living level have been improved much more, the market changesfrom seller market to buyer’s market. Competition appears some new features: productlife cycles becomes shorter., product varieties increases and delivery time becomesshorter. Increasing of customer requirements means lower profit for the enterprise.Resources and labor productivity has reached the limit of lifting profit, the directionof the corporate pursuits profit change to the third profit source-logisticsmanagement.The rapid development of Internet and E-commerce, and the appearance of manymanagement concept, which greatly expedited the development of supply chainmanagement; Competition in enterprises changes from individual company intoenterprises in the supply chain. The relationship between the manufacturer andsuppliers changes from the competition cooperation to win-win cooperation. Thebackground of economic globalization makes companies relationship more closely,2008financial crisis on business proves this point more clearly.Supply chain management contains four main areas: purchase, productionplanning, logistics, and demand. Supply chain management aims to improve userservice level and reduce overall transaction cost, and seek a balance between the twogoals (two goals often conflict). Supply chain management focus on the totalLogistics cost (the cost of raw materials to the final finished product) and the level ofcustomer service, ensure all company in the supply chain can combine closely, inorder to maximize benefit of the supply chain enterprise Group.After reading many supply chain management literature, thinking of the actualproduction status of DB Company, the discourse focus on the supply chainmanagement among Supplier-DB Company-Customer. Analysis the Logisticsmanagement of DB current situation, find the gaps and weaknesses, to identifydeep-seated reasons. Design the supply chain management system correspond withDB practice, concern about strategic procurement management, procurementmanagement, material requirement management, material management, strategicpartnership, manufacturing, ERP information system and BPR.The paper is divided into five chapters. The introduction describes the researchbackground. Since the beginning of the21st century, the economy has entered a modeof globalization and integration. After the financial crisis of2008, China’s equipmentmanufacturing industry meet the new opportunity and challenge.Analyze the urgencyand necessity of DB company to create the supply chain management.The second chapter describes the basic theory of the supply chain, which DBused to create a supply chain management system. Including the definition, content, method and development of supply chain management. Focus on supplierdevelopment principle, supplier development process; procurement management,material management, customer relationship, ERP system and process reengineering.The third chapter analyze the status of DB Company. From the product type,material characteristic, organizational structure, functional process, analysis theprocurement management, material management, manufacturing and ERP systemmanagement status, to find out the underlying cause.The fourth chapter describes the design concept of DB Company’s supply chainmanagement system. Based on Supplier-DB Company-Customer model, constructDB Company’s supply chain pattern, reorganize the related function, focus on supplierdevelopment, purchasing, material management.The fifth chapter summarizes the effect after the running of the supply chainmanagement, preserve the competition strength, but still have some shortage. Expectthe future, and continuous improvement.In this paper, combine the method of the qualitative analysis and quantitativeanalysis, combine theory with practice, study on supply chain management for projectmodel, which order drive for many varieties of small batch production condition, DBCompany changes from vertical integration to horizontal integration, depend on thesupply chain management to keep competition strength, provide a reference for thedomestic related company.
