In the case of social over-supply, public consumption’s development towards todiversification and personality, more and more refined so that all market segments’demand corresponding reduction. So if the manufacturing enterprises want to gain afoothold in the fierce market competition, the Flexible Manufacturing Strategy whichcan achieve multi-species, small quantities of product supply is the best choice.Flexible Manufacturing Mode enables companies to identify consumers’ consumptivetendency accurately while make the appropriate measures quickly and provide theproducts or services which meet the requirements of market and audience; Secondly,on the basis of requirement identification it can not only render the manufacturingenterprises control costs but also complete the production targets efficiently, form thecompetitive advantages which is difficult to copy and imitate, remain invincible in thefierce market competition. Because of all above, the Flexible Manufacturing Modehas become a popular choice for manufacturing companies in recent years.However, choosing a mode which can adapt to the changing times is not enoughif the manufacturing companies want a foothold in the fierce market competition. It isjust a beginning to make a strategic choice in the whole competition, the mostimportant and most difficult part of the process of implementation of the mode. In thisprocess, in addition to the rigid element such as flexible manufacturing system andother hardware facilities and production technology, the most important part is theflexible level of the production line staff. As the direct operator of the production line,its flexible level influences deeply the implementation of the enterprise’s mode, theso-called" great oaks from little acorns grow". If production line staff’s flexibilitylevel is not up to the requirements, the “flexible” refer to the overall strategic level ofenterprises will be only castles in the air eventually.This paper,from the requirements for the production line staff’s flexible levelduring process of the implementation of the flexible manufacturing mode, and take the first-line production staff who worked in the automobile manufacturing enterprise-s as the research object. We can find that the first-line production staff should fulfill acertain level of flexibility to implement the Flexible Manufacturing Mode’s such asEmployee Engagement, Stuff autonomous learning and Stuff Continuous improvem-ent by field survey and literature reading. It can be found that these threeintermediate variables are inextricably linked to organizational commitment ofemployees by further study, then ultimately explore the relationship between theFlexible manufacturing mode and organizational commitment of employees, in orderto be able to provide a draw for enterprises.
