A Study On TPL In Drug Industry Based On Integration

Drug is a special product which has a close relationship with people’s health and life. Drug industry has got more and more attention. However, the development level of logistics in drug industry does not meet the level of attention. Because of the policy in of this industry, self-logistics model takes the main part. As a result, the weaknesses of self-logistics, such as size small, inefficiency and cost high, display fully. The State Food and Drug Administration and the Ministry of Commerce published some positive policies which inspire the development of3PL in drug industry. Study on the application of3PL in drug industry becomes a theme both practical and advanced.To this question, this paper firstly analyzed the current situation of drug logistics and declared the necessity of apply3PL in drug industry. Then, it analyzed the possibility of the application of3PL in drug industry. After that, it researched the superiority of3PL in the government supervision angle, the market (benefit) angle and the industry development angle. At last, this paper mainly studied the method of the application of3PL in drug industry. It stated that integration theory should be appropriate to develop3PL in drug industry and verified the existence of optimal integration degree. This paper discussed the question of how to develop3PL in drug industry through the series of research above.
