With the development of modern social and economic, sustainable urban development became into a new concept, the coordinated development of the city systems was a key factor in achieving sustainable urban development goals. Beijing, as the capital of China, the center of political and cultural, represented other mega-cities in China, while its coordinated development made an important reference to China’s sustainable development.Based on the theory of sustainable development, coordinate development, system dynamics, using factor analysis and system dynamics method, an index system was established about the coordinated evaluation of economy, environment, population of Beijing, the coordinated development level in Beijing was determined. Conclusion is that overall system level had a trend of growth year by year, the economic system, in three subsystems, stood in the highest level, while the rate of development of the environment and population system growing slow. Established the system dynamics model of economy, environment, population of Beijing at the same time, and simulated the basic behavior of the system model and policy control. Three types of simulation programs, industrial development type, environmental protection development type, coordination development type, were brought up. By the comparison of the simulation projects, the best plan was chosen to promote the coordinated development of the three subsystems in Beijing, that is, focused on economic growth, rationally adjusted the industrial structure, increased environmental investment, strengthened the control of pollutant emissions, while actively deal with issues such as population size expansion, and as a basis to develop a coordinated development strategy in Beijing.
