| The Arctic route is the shortest route connected the Northern Atlantic Ocean with Northern Pacific. However, because of the location and cold climate, the Arctic route has always been unable to navigate. Along with global warming, Arctic ice has been melting, the prediction showed that the Arctic route and could realize the navigation throughout the year around 2050. The opening of the Arctic route to the international shipping industry and even to global social and economic has immeasurable potential value.To China’s shipping industry, the existing several maritime trade routes are facing all kinds of problems, such as the saturated navigable capability, the pirate threat. And the opening of the Arctic route will effectively relieve the pressure of the traditional shipping routes, ensure the safety of the ships to traffic. In addition, China has become the biggest trading powers, the foreign trade volume increases year by year, especially with the European Union and North American trade increases gradually. After the Arctic route opened, it will help China greatly shorten with the European Union and North America and other countries shipping distance, reduce the costs of shipping, and contribute to the Chinese trade structure optimization, promote sound and rapid development of the national economy. Therefore, the opening of the Arctic route has an active and far-reaching impact on shipping industry and economy and society in China.On the basis of summarized the domestic and foreign research, as the prerequisite of Arctic route navigation, under the guidance of the industry related theories, this paper summarizes the characteristics of the development of shipping industry from the perspective of industrial organization, industrial structure and industrial layout in our country, and elaborates in detail various aspects of the current situation of the development of shipping industry. Combined with the Arctic route status, the article analyzes deeply on the influences of shipping industry in China in the perspective of industry,as the Arctic route is opening. Due to the coverage of the shipping industry and related industry is very complicated, the paper selects ten representative indicators for analysis of the degree of influence. By the use of the Linguistic Judgment Matrix to comprehensively assess the selected indexes, we can get the weights of every affected element of shipping industry in China, and sort these elements in the size of numerical Value. According to the results of sorting, the shortened shipping distance, marine cargo transportation volume and energy demand, building capacity of shipping logistics platform, have been the biggest impacted. Finally, according to the ranking results of this paper, proposing some strategies pertinently, it is very referential for China’s shipping industry to participate in the development and utilization of Arctic routes. |
