| The two main activities of supply chain are production activity and distribution activity.Due to the uncertainty of production and distribution process and instability of the externalenvironment, the supply chain is more vulnerable subjected by various types of risk. A lot ofcases show that once a risk has happened, which will result irreversible damage and hugelosses to the supply chain, even cause complete rupture. If we control supply chain riskeffective that will avoid or reduce the losses by the risk. So, study the supply chain riskFormation mechanism and risk control from the process of manufacturer - distributor–Userhas important practical significance and broad application prospects.In this paper, based on the risk management theory, supply chain management theory andthe theory of constraints, and a combination of theoretical analysis and case studies, study theformation mechanism of the supply chain risk and risk control method. The first chapterbriefly introduces the research background and significance, and present current researchsituation of supply chain risk and the application of TOC in supply chain research, andintroduces the research content, methods and technologies routes of this paper. The secondchapter introduces the basic content of the theory of risk management, supply chainmanagement theory and the theory of constraints. Chapter III on the basis of summarize thecurrent research result, summed up the definition of supply chain risk, clear supply chaincharacteristics and classification of risk, and analyze the supply chain risk factors use riskmanagement theory and supply chain management theory, explore the formation mechanismof the risk of the supply chain. Finally, using the cognition process tool to build the formationmechanism model of supply chain risk, reveal the stakeholders play support and strengthen effect to supply chain risk formation, under the failure conditions of supervision, theseuncertainties factors will cause bigger risk to the supply chain in the process of supplyoperation. Chapter IV pointed out that multi-vendor strategy, optimization of productionoperations as well as dynamic control of inventory can reduce the risk of supply chainproduction and distribution, and effective supervise mechanisms and information sharingmechanism can reduce the whole risk of the supply chain. Chapter V analyze the automotivesupply chain in Japan after the earthquake, discusses the risk of earthquakes cause theautomotive supply chain and propose response strategies. Chapter VI sum up the papercontent and point out the flaw of the paper and the problem need to study in future. |
