Study On Operator Business Application Platform Based On Platform Economic Theory

In recent years, with the rapid development of the application platform, internet enterprises, operating system developers, and telecom operators are all participated in race of the platform operation.In the individual market, the platform competition is very fierce, and the role of the platform becomes significantly. However, in the group clients market, the development of the application platform is slow. At the same time, China’s telecom operators are facing with the challenge of transformation. On these conditions, it is a strategic problem for operators that how to handle the high quality of so many group customer resources, to build business application platform, and to realize the transformation of information service operators.This paper focused on group client market of telecom operators, based on platform economic theory, studied operator business application platform construction. Firstly, this paper studied the platform economic theory systematically, and analyzed the construction necessity of operator business application platform. Secondly, this paper analyzed the development situation of domestic operator business application platform, and pointed out the problems. Through benchmark research and model derivation, draw in the product orientation, cooperative strategy and pricing way three corresponding countermeasures. At last, based on the above analysis, gave some development Suggestions for operators to set up the business application platform. Hope this paper can provide the beneficial reference for China telecom operators to set up the business application platform successfully.
