Based on the development of china’s enterprise, we have integrated the institution and enterprise Capability to analyze the relationship between the Internationalization and performance, and developed the theory study in degree of Internationalization (DOI).Using china’s listing enterprise panel data from 2005 to 2010, we have analyzed the relationship between the Internationalization and performance. The empirical result show that link between performance and degree of multinationality is U-shaped. It means that an initial decline in performance up to a point, after which further expansion brings an upward performance. By integrating the International theory, enterprise Capability theory and institution-based views, we have found that the performance of enterprise is not only determined by DOI, but the institution and enterprise Capability. Technology and marketing moderate the relationship between the Internationalization and performance positively. While not all institution factors have the positive influence, Foreign investment can help the enterprise get Performance from DOI but Government Involvement can’t. Through the result above, this paper gives a new point of view to explain the relationship between the Internationalization and performance and their related factors.
