Research On The Application To Environmental Management Systems In Shenzhen Airlines

ISO14000-Environmental management systems standard was issued by International Standard Organization in1996, as a result, it is considered as a unified standard in the world. Until now, the corporates from more than100countries and regions have carried it out. It almost affects the international trades. These environmental management systems standards have a great influence on many areas, except environment protection. At present, the construction of the ISO14000environmental management systems has become a necessary component in the international economic activities. Chinese corporates always miss to execute the standards and concern on the economical development. Insteadly, the corporates in Japan and other developed countries are very care about the environmental standards. Although establishment of the environmental management systems has become a consensus in most corporates, most of Chinese companies prefer ISO14000certification to doing some useful things which can improve the environment.On the basis of the author’s understanding for ISO14000-environmental management systems standards, combining participation in Shenzhen Airlines Co., Ltd., he studied as followings:First, present the background for the environmental management system research, executions status of all the countries and corporates and the the current situation both at home and abroad;Second, present basic status of ISO14000, and the application in china at present.Third, present the process and significance for the corporates to build up ISO14000-environmental management systems standard.Last, introduce the process of seting up the environmental management systems in Shenzhen airlines, and introduce the problems and experiences from the applications, and to discuss relevant improvement measuresIt is urgent and significant that our corporates should build up and excute environmental management systems. This article could provide the experience and reference for other corporates to learn, build up its environmental management systems.
