The labor market is an important part of the market economy, if not labor market, it isimpossible to achieve social and economic operation and development. Labor marketsegmentation is a distorted labor market to perform its functions, is not conducive to thedevelopment of market economy. Unlike other countries, the segmentation of labor marketin China is an institutional division, including urban and rural labor market segmentation,the segmentation between the different institutions and departments. The rational flow oflabor is hindered, urban and rural development presents a great gap, all this seriouslyrestricts social and economic development in our country.This paper uses qualitative and quantitative methods of research and literature tomeasure the level of labor market integration of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, andcompare the two provinces of the labor market integration level and related policies, toexplore the barriers to labor market integration and to seek ways to solve the obstacles. Thekey to solving many problems of the labor market in China is to clarify the dynamicmechanism of the labor market integration, repair, adjustment function of marketmechanism on the labor market, reform the household registration, as well as related laborsystem, and clear the channels of labor migration, and gradually establish a unified labormarket.
