Recent years, the pace of construction enterprises of our country expanding overseas markets accelerated apparently. The international engineering contracting business maintained high-speed growth for many consecutive years. But at the same time, there are more and more risk factors in the international engineering contracting market, and the risk our contractor facing is much higher than before. Due to the lack of ability, risk prevention awareness and perfect risk management system, Chinese contractors encountered a series of problems and suffered a great loss. Not only the seriousness of the exterior situation but also the urgency of the internal promotion ask construction enterprises to strengthen risk management and improve risk prevention ability.This paper takes Chinese construction enterprise who participates in international project contracting as the object. The risk factors of International project contracting are identified from the angle of contractor and some feasible measures for risk prevention suggestions are put forward in this paper for improving the risk prevention ability and the risk resistance ability of Chinese construction enterprises. Firstly, combining with the characteristics of international project contracting risks, risk identification is undertaken in the thesis. A risk list of international project contracting contains external risks and project own risks is analyzed and draw. Secondly, including5large construction enterprises from domestic and abroad ranked in the forefront of ENR and a few representative enterprises of other industry are analyzed with their risk management experience to enlighten Chinese contractors.
