The Research On The Coordinated Development Of Beichuan Dark Tourism

After Wenchuan earthquake, as one of the hard-hit areas, Beichuan Qiang Ethnic Minority Autonomous Country began to advocate the development of dark tourism and has decided to make dark tourism the pillar industry to boost the economy. Beichuan dark tourism, which contains both the old and new Beichuan town as the main dark tourism attractions, has become one of the hottest tourist destinations. However, there is still not much research on either the theory or the practice of dark tourism in China. Dark tourism obtains its special characteristics, which is very much different from other tourism products and needs to be taken into consideration carefully when doing the dark tourism management. Therefore, given these circumstances, the answer to the question of how to coordinate the relations of different stakeholders in the development of Beichuan dark tourism so as to make Beichuan dark tourism development sustainable and help reconstruct becomes urgent.In order to come up with a reasonable management mode of coordinated development of Beichuan dark tourism stakeholders, combined methods of documentary research, case analysis and field research with stakeholder theory and game theory, the author divided the stakeholders into three groups and pointed out the core stakeholder group as well as their existing problems through game analysis. Then by using system theory and coordinated development theory, the author successfully constructed the management mode of coordinated development of Beichuan dark tourism stakeholders, which includes five parts, the main body, the content, the process, the aim and the performance of the management. Finally, in order to make sure the sound implement of this new management mode, the author built its institutional guarantee by elaborating the mechanism of the express, the coordination, the guarantee and the supervision of stakeholders’interests.
