The development of the transportation provides convenience, efficiency and reduced costs. But when vehicles travelling across the nodes or route in transportation network, affected by various factors, cannot move at the normal speed, so as to wait for being processed by (or crossing) transportation network.In the view of the existing transportation research, they focus on the queue length, waiting time producing in nodes and equipments number, lack of research about the queuing research on the whole network. Therefore this thesis discuss queueing system based on exponential closed network. The main research contents are as following:(1)Describe and interpret exponential closed transportation network based on queuing network, define the basic components of the transportation network, to construct exponential closed transportation network in series and mixed, which the thesis researches are suitable to beapplied, and set parameters and related variables.(2)Based on the queueing theory and describing of single access station and muit-accesses station and section and analysis of vehicle process on these components, using the queuing theory knowledge, calculate vehicles waiting time, then trough example calculation point out that the actual application should be considered changing factors.(3)Vehicles movement trough the transport network form cycling queueing system, using the queuing theory knowledge, calculate vehicles running time, then trough example calculation point out the influences of four aspects on the running time.This thesis construct exponential closed transportation network, on the basis of analysis of queuing theory and transportation queuing theory, obtain vehicles waiting time and running time and their role in transportation network construction and evaluation trough example calculation. The thesis has theoretical value and realistic signification to a certain degree to the construction and exploitation of transportation route.
