Study Of Knowledge Management Applications In China Eastern Airlines Kunming Maintenance Base

After years of development, the civil aviation industry of China owns advanced equipment and technology but its management is far behind the formation of the globalization. With the continuous development of knowledge-based economy, human capital and intellectual capital has become a source of core competitiveness of enterprises. Human resources development and management will be more important to the civil aviation maintenance enterprises in the future.In order to explore the rational and effective knowledge management system for the civil aviation maintenance enterprises, This paper was designed to study the concept of knowledge management and related principles, with the actual situation of the industry and enterprise of the aviation maintenance enterprise.This paper used the literature and questionnaires, quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis research methods to study the status of knowledge management of the China Eastern Airlines Kunming Maintenance Base. After access to a large number documents of knowledge management, knowledge management diagnostic evaluation, the paper chose the AMT’s Enterprise Knowledge Management Maturity Model (KMMM) as the major diagnostic tool; Then it introduced the basic situation and maintenance mode and characteristics of the China Eastern Airlines Kunming Maintenance Base. Through quantitative analysis and interviews based on the data got by KMMM questionnaire, by the assistance of qualitative analysis and comprehensive analysis of the status, the paper gets a optimization conclusion for the Base.With the specialization of the aviation maintenance enterprise, this paper issued that the coding strategy and humane strategy should be used on the knowledge management at the same time. With the actual status of the China Eastern Airlines Maintenance Base, this paper makes a implementation plan and optimization program under these six side of views:Establishment of knowledge management, construction of knowledge management platform, adjustment of the organizational structure, establish an incentive mechanism, creation of the knowledge-oriented corporate culture, introduction and cooperation.
