Based On The Safety Of Truck Interior Design And Research

The industrialization and urbanization of European city in the 1820s provided market premise for the birth of the carriage to the steam. The application of combustion engine car in the early twentieth century formed the prototype of the modern trucks. The use of standardized and related laws and regulations contributed to the rapid development of trucks in the first and second world war.The use of modern science and technology is impels the truck and the neglected decorations inside the truck developing towards the direction of safety, man-machine interior, comfortable, efficient.However, such a rapid development of trucks also brings a fatal problem of security. Data shows that in 2006, truck, accounting for about 5% of the total in China’s automobiles contributed to the 20% of the total death toll in traffic accident. The cause of the accident of truck has three aspects: the car, the persons and the environmental factors. In the three factors, the car is service for human beings. The data shows that the traffic accident caused by itself and the existence of environment is not high. People become the main cause for truck factors, including drunk driving, fatigue driving, a disease, driver’s mood. So the factors influencing the drivers’safe driving includes drivers’physiological and psychological factors, and most closely contacted with the drivers’bodies and emotions is the interior of the truck. So making reasonable security design for truck interior will become one of the most important direction in interior design for the truck. Right now, the research towards the truck interior safety is divided into two directions: one is based on improving safety performance of the truck. The other is based on the monitoring of driving condition. These two design respectively think from the angle of the truck and the person, in order to improve the safety of truck interior.Firstly, this paper summarizes the history and current situation of the development of the truck, and resources data of truck accidents. Then, it makes a comprehensive analysis and summary about the causes of the accidents of truck. Afterwards, it summarizes the design thought of improving the truck interior safety, which providing the theory basis for interior design of truck safety. Finally, it makes an improved design of the security by the design practice of each key part of the interior of trucks.
