This paper summarizes the present situation of the development of Logistics Industry inJiangxi province, and then discusses the relationship of Logistics Industry and economicgrowth. Not only the article studies how Logistics Industry affects GPD but also analyses themutual relationship of Logistics Industry, Primary Industry, Industry and Construction. Basedon Jiangxi’s actual situation, Transport, Storage and Post is the main part of Jiangxi’sLogistics Industry and takes a very high ratio of Added Value of Logistics Industry. So AddedValue of Transport, Storage and Post can be used to stand for Added Value of LogisticsIndustry.This paper points out that the assets of Road Transport takes up the most of LogisticsIndustry by comparing analysis. And allocation of resource is not appropriate in LogisticsIndustry. Then the article use the grey relation analysis to find the geometrical curve ofLogistics Industry is the most similar to the geometrical curve of Jiangxi’s GDP. In otherwords, GDP and Logistics Industry have the greatest correlation degree. So that thedevelopment of Logistics Industry is very important to the growth of GDP is proved.And the single equation of cointegration model is applied to the paper to concludeLogistics Industry has a significant positive influence on GDP. Meantime, that GDP, PrimaryIndustry, Industry, Construction, and Logistics Industry have a long-term stable relationshipof equilibrium shows Logistics Industry has a long-term stable stimulating on GDP. Thenthree cointegration vectors exit in mutual relationship of Logistics Industry, Primary Industry,Industry and Construction is proved by using cointegration test and vector error correctionmodel. The model analyses that Logistics Industry is not Primary Industry and Construction’sGranger causality, but Industry’s. And it also points out Primary Industry, Industry andConstruction are not Logistics Industry’s Granger causality.Impulse response analysis of the model concludes Logistics Industry plays a positivesupporting part in the development of Primary Industry, Industry and Construction, especiallyto Primary Industry and Industry with greater and longer influence. And variancedecomposition analysis of the model shows the same result as impulse response analysis fromanother perspective.
