Reseach On Development Of A Process Control System In Computer Tomography Localization Project

The main business scope of the company which I’ve been working for is medicalequipment import&processing, due to the demanding from domestic low andintermediate level market increases rapidly, it’s urgent to lower the cost of the products.To meet this requirement, and fulfill the company’s stratagy of transformation fromimport&processing to Research&Development, the company made the decision to startthe CT system localization project.The article made the research on this localization project from the aspects oftechnical scheme, project organizational system, project cost estimation, project qualitymanagement, project risk management, project process management, etc. and the projectdeveloped a low-cost, high-performance localized CT product which is suitable for thelow and intermediate level’s domestic market.The research contents of the article is as following:1. It made analysis on the import CT system’s basic imaging principle and systemstructure, described the CT system fundmental technology. Based on system HW/SWfunctional frame, it defined the technical scheme for the localization of CT system.2. On Quality management of the localization project, due to no specific documentspecification currently, it set the design/document specification to standardize andregulate the process for the localization project, so that it could have control on thequality management.3. On Risk management of the localization project, it utilized related risk managementknowledges from project knowledge body (PMI) and ISO14971risk management. Bythe methods of risk analysis, risk assessment, risk control etc. it researched on how toassess the product risk, and make related risk scheme.4. On process management of the localization project, it utilized related processmanagement knowledges from project knowledge body (PMI) and V-model. Byproject break-down, task assignment, working time estimation and network diagram,it figured out the critical path in the process to have process control on thelocalization project.5. On Cost management of CT image control software of the localization project, itutilized well-developed cost control method “Earned Value Analysis”to assess theproject cost and timeline.The project of localized CT system was finished on June,2010and put onto thetarget market smoothly. The localized CT system has achieved the performancecomparing the imported CT, and successfully fulfilled the project target.
