| Gansu Province owes the undeveloped area in our country, which ecological environment is inherently more vulnerable, natural condition is poor and geological environment is more complex. In the past, because of policy issues, people quality was not high and they were suffered by short-term profit-driven, Awareness of conservation of natural resources was weak, so a lot of ecological and environmental problems appeared, Such as Soil erosion, desertification, salinization, grassland degradation, loss of biodiversity etc. When western development strategy implement on the decade, the economy of Gansu Province has greatly improved, social cause of progress has developed quickly; The ecological environment has been dramatically improved. But the extensive mode of economic growth is still existent, which increases pressure on resources and the environment. This has become an important factor in restricting its economic and social development.In this context, we can research on sustainable economic development under the conditions of resource and environment constraints in Gansu Province. We can combine on the actual situation, learn from the sustainable development theory and mathematical statistics, construct the evaluation index system of sustainable economic development of Gansu Province, Select data from2000to2010, take the principal component analysis of Gansu Province’s economy sustainable level of development of an empirical analysis, and then apply Linear regression analysis in econometrics to test the coordination of environmental, economic and social development.Through studying, we can see:①the development of Gansu Province is basically in line with sustainable economic development model from2001to2010;②he level of development of resources and the environment subsystem, economic subsystem and social subsystem are basically in a rising trend. Social development level of the curve is relatively stable rising, that is to say the social development is a good upswing. The rate of economic development is also fast, but slight fluctuations in2008-2009. Development trends of the resources and the environment overall progress, but there are some ups and downs, is not very stable, which speed is slow compare to the economic and social development’s;③Resources and the environment, economic and social development are the basic coordination, the coordination of economic and social development is better, resources and the environment is relatively undeveloped.④In the sustainable development in Gansu Province, resources and the environment subsystem is relatively at a disadvantage, so strengthening the resources and environment protection and construction is the top priority of the path of sustainable development in Gansu Province.Through an Empirical Study of the principal component analysis and coordination model and the combination of the actual situation of Gansu, we can explore the factors of Gansu Province in sustainable economic development under the conditions of the resource and environmental constraints, they are:natural resources are more vulnerable, environmental quality to be improved, ecological destruction have become increasingly prominent, the extensive mode of economic growth has not been completely changed, farmers’ living standards are still low, overall regional economic development level is still low, population quantity is large, but quality is low etc.According to empirical analysis on sustainable economic development of Gansu Province, we can put forward to proposal of sustainable economic development:increase the protection of natural resources, intensify environmental construction, strengthen the protection of ecological environment and governance, establish resources, environment and economic development Mechanism, promote economic and industrial structure adjustment, focus on the development of science and technology, education and the quality of the population in Gansu Province. |
