Dynamic capabilities theories believes that, in today’s turbulent environment, firmsneed to foster dynamic capabilities to maintain, promote and create competitiveadvantage. However on one hand, the definition is still not clear, without a cleartheoretical framework and basic proposition, on the other hand, dynamic capabilities arehard to be measured and practiced, which results in lack of reliable empirical researchand measuring method, and can not be used to management practice. So it is necessaryto carry on the comprehensive analysis of dynamic capabilities combining theory andpractice of enterprise, and to point out promoting mechanism of dynamic capabilities. Therefore, this paper takes the Chinese enterprises as the research objects, and carriesout the study of enterprise’ dynamic capabilities constitution system, namely whichfactors drive enterprise’ dynamic capabilities and how is the relationship amongdynamic capabilities, competitive advantage, and organization performance.Based on the competitive advantage theory, resource-based theory, corecompetence theory and knowledge-based theory, this paper starts with reviews ofdynamic capabilities and competitive advantage, and the results show that factors suchas dynamic capabilities and environment are the important effects of competitiveadvantages and organizational performance. On the basis of a large number ofliteratures, this paper constructs evolution path structuring of dynamic capabilities byextent, depth, and life cycle from a new perspective. Then several sub-path, and theirinfluencing factors and influencing mechanism are discussed, and then, based on theproposed framework of evolution path from extent, depth, evolution speed, andinteractive degrees, and we propose related hypotheses of dynamic capabilities anddifferentiation advantage, cost advantages, resulting in formal questionnaire throughprediction of the sample.Secondly, we carry out data analysis and empirical testing after collectingquestionnaire. In this paper we use SPSS to analyze reliability and validity of thesample data. Since then we use structural equation model to verify the relationshipamong capability extent, capability depth, capability evolution speed, capabilityinteractive and differentiation, cost advantages, organizational performance. The resultsof the study concludes: capability extent, capability depth, capability evolution speedsignificantly positive affects differentiation advantage; capability extent, capability evolution speed, capability interactive have significant positive impact on costadvantage; differentiation advantage, cost advantage have significantly positive impacton the performance; capability depth doesn’t significantly affect cost advantage;capability interactive doesn’t significantly affect differentiation advantage; competitiveadvantage plays regulatory role between capability extent, capability depth, capabilityinteractive and organizational performance; environment turbulent adjusts dynamiccapability and organizational performance. Finally, based on the empirical research findings, this paper proposes the effectivemechanism and the way to maintain competitive advantage such as improvingtechnology and product innovation capability, training entrepreneur’ environmentalawareness, strengthening internal elites learning motivation. Later, this papersummarizes innovation, deficiencies and prospect of research. All in all, this paperconstructs evolution path structuring of dynamic capabilities from two aspects of spaceand time, and uses empirical research method to discuss the relationship amongdynamic capabilities, competitive advantages, and organization performance, expects toenrich the basic theory of dynamic capabilities.
