Lean production is a new mode of production, which is driven by customer demandand eliminated waste to keep continuous improvement as the core, meantime, it can gainmaximum benefits and improve efficiency with a minimum input. Competitive advantage ofChina’s shipbuilding industry is low labor cost, but the superiority is not more and moreobvious because raw materials and labor costs keep rising, so China’s shipbuilding industryhas to find a new improvement method. As we all known, steel is the main material of theship and steel plates supplying is the beginning of production, a suitable method of steelmanagement will be able to reduce costs, and shorten conversion cycle, and reduceinventory. By improving steel logistics management level, the economic efficiency andproduct efficiency would be enhanced, furthermore, it is a mean to participate in theinternational competition, At this stage of China’s shipbuilding industry, maybe this is thebest solution because it could without large-scale technical transformation and equipmentrenewal.Based on yard steel circulation process, steel logistics management includes steelmaterial estimates, purchase, storage, remove etc. System analysis method was applies tostudy steel logistics management, improvement measurements for some critical points as onpurchase pattern and dump site management were proposed in this thesis. The order list andvolume of order batch should be considered while Steel plate ordering control, with theinfluence of purchase cost and management cost be in consideration, a reasonable purchasemode was proposed according to accurate rate of steel plate booking and purchase plan inthis thesis. In steel plate dump management, structure characteristic and stacking rules werediscussed, combined with steel plate yard discharge planning, a mathematical model wasestablished to find a suitable method steel stacking in dump area under yards limitedcapacity. Based on all above, a steel logistics system evaluation index standardize and asteel logistics system evaluation model were established to synthetically analysis theimproved steel logistics system. The innovation points of this paper are as followed: First, a new steel logisticsmanagement method and established steel logistics system evaluation model were proposed.Second, based on accurate bill of steel material for purchasing, the steel purchase patternconcerning volume and number of order was proposed, which can reduce purchase cost andcontrol steel storage rhythm. Third, stacking and removing rules were gave, and a newoptimization method of steel plate stacking combined with steel storage stacking schemewas established, which high efficiently reduce numbers of turning plate at operationsituation of many batches steel plate in storage and out of storage. |
