According to the application requirements that on-board comprehensive electronic systems in outer space’s must have the ability to autonomic test, autonomic operation, autonomic repairing and autonomic reconfiguration in severe environmental conditions, by deeply studying the function components of on-board electronic systems, and analyzing the existing dynamical redundance systems and autonomic fault-tolerance system, this paper presents an architecture for on-board comprehensive electronic system, which based on large scale programmable devices and high performance CPU. This architecture eventually fulfills the system-level autonomic fault-tolerance and reconfiguration. The works of this paper is that trying to promote the research on the new generation high performance, high reliability architecture of space electronic system, and extending traditional Von Neumann architecture. The target architecture provides highly fault-tolerant ability, as well as reconfiguration on function and task level. Fault-tolerance and reconfiguration are able to complement to and supplement to each other, which can largely improve the reliability and flexibility of on-board electronic system. This project is one of the pre-research national defense projects of Xi’an Microelectronics Technology Institute, and supported by the "Weapon Equipment pre-research Fund Project". The main target is to study reconfiguration of on-board comprehensive electronic systems that has self-fault-tolerance ability.
