With the development of the time and improvement of the economy, vehicle has becomethe necessary transportation means for modern people. Nevertheless, as people are enjoyingthe convenience and swift of the automobile of the vehicle, the safety of the vehicle bothersthem. In order to protect the vehicle from being stolen, a variety of vehicle alarm equipmentemerges as the time require. The vehicle protecting technology attract a wide spread attention.Especially in recent years, the requirement of the vehicle alarm system increases as the livingstandards improves.In this paper, an intelligent vehicle perceptual system based on the analysis of vibrationis introduced. The composition of the hardware, analysis of the signal and theImplementation Method are fully described:(1) The hardware composition includes central control unit MC9S12DG128, vibrationaccelerometer, GSM module, and GPS module.(2) The algorithm contains the derivation process for signal processing and theconstitution of the intelligent analysis for the signal.(3) The realization of program process can be divided into the process for eachfunctional module and the process for the main body.(4) The testing of the system includes the tests of each functional module and the test ofthe main body. According to the test, the function and the stability of the system are verified,which meet the requirement of the design.On the basis of the study above, the system is designed inheriting the merits of thetraditional alarm equipments. On the base of vibration signal analysis, the system will have anassessment of the safety situation of the vehicle by using data processing method;Then thesystem will send alarm information to the user and information interaction is realized throughGPS and GSM platform. The characteristics of this system are estimating possible riskintelligently through the signal detecting, moreover, the system can be controlled from longdistance. The system can be installed without professionals so that the performance price ratiois relatively high.
