Research Of Implementation Method About Codec In Protocal Conformance Test

Recent years, with the increasing demand for wireless transmission rate and different types of data services, fourth-generation digital mobile communication technology has been developed rapidly, one of the most important technologies is3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE). TD-LTE-A, as a smooth evolution of TD-LTE, provides a higher peak rate, higher spectral efficiency and throughput. With the launch of TD-LTE-Advanced standard, protocol implementation and development become more complex.Protocol tests become essential and critical means, and conformance test is the basic of protocol test.Currently, TTCN-3as the key technologies for conformance testing, it’s an independent, abstract, flexible language. This high abstraction of TTCN-3, which brings a great deal of difficulty to its specific application, mainly reflects on the development of the adapter (platform adapter and system under test adapter), as a matter of fact, the codecs can also be seen as a special kind of adapter. In order to achieve communication with the SUT, you must use a standard syntax,codec completed this part of task. In this article the idea of designing codecs in conformance testing process is recommended, combined with TTCN-3in application of conformance testing process, explored the core language and relevant implementation of TTCN-3control interface, also a specific method in implementation of codecs with C language in conformance testing is presented. Because TTCN-3is a Java-based development platform, the C language codec is unprecedented.The starting point of this article is to design and implement the TCI-CD interface in TTCN-3test system eventually. Deeply researched the overall TTCN-3test system architecture, described codec design ideas for the TCI-CD interface of the TCI interface detailly. Verified the feasibility and correctness of the test system by running AM RLC/Control of transmit window test cases, and also implemented basic function of TCI-CD interface. TTCN-3test system is a complex and large system, this article laid a good foundation to implement complete TTCN-3test system.
